I was born in 1991 and grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. A paper map of the United States, seen from high above, and a rust pin drops on Silver Spring as the camera sinks towards it.
In 2009 I graduated from a math and science magnet program at Montgomery Blair High School in Maryland: a desk of textbooks, a calculator, a bubbling flask and a pencil writing an equation.
From 2009 to 2010 I spent a year at the University of Maryland as a Division I swimmer: lane ropes, backstroke flags, and a terrapin in a swim cap and goggles at the end of the pool.
In 2010 I left college and switched gears. One small figure stands alone at the end of an empty pool as the camera pulls away.
From 2010 to 2014 I worked at Jimmy John's as area manager of three sandwich shops with 100 people and $4M in sales. Three sub shops rise out of the paper, delivery bikes at the door, and 100 figures drop into formation in front of them.
From 2014 to 2016 I went back to the University of Maryland and earned a B.S. in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Spanish. A graduation cap is tossed and lands on a stack of books, and a terrapin in a mortarboard does a happy spin.
From 2016 to 2018 I was a dispatcher at Ruan Transportation, living in Delaware and North Carolina, for 150 trucks along the East Coast. A yard of 150 small trucks lights up and rolls out in waves.
At Ruan I built a backhaul program that added $500,000 in revenue, and managed complex reverse logistics. In a miniature depot a misrouted parcel jams the flow, then every parcel is sent back where it belongs.
In 2016 I met my wife on a Megabus in Manhattan, on West 33rd Street. It was love at first sight. A double-decker coach pulls up under the Midtown towers, the two of us lean in on the upper deck, and a rust heart pops up.
In 2018, I moved from the USA to Germany. A paper plane flies a rust arc from a USA pin to a DE pin. For the first five months I studied German at a Volkshochschule: flashcards flip over to der, die and das.
From 2018 to 2020 I worked at Werthenbach, learning warehouse operations and improving my German. The camera rushes down a warehouse aisle as the rack lights switch on.
In 2020, I moved into SAP consulting at Lidl, where I worked until 2022 on SAP TM and EWM rollouts in Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Serbia, Northern Ireland, Austria and the US. On a paper map of Europe the six countries rise in rust, one by one, each with an SAP marker, and one more SAP pin drops on the US.
In 2022, I joined 4flow SE, where I continue to work as an SAP consultant for major German automotive companies and retailers. Modules labelled TM, EWM and S/4HANA slide into a chassis and light up.
Since November 2025, I have been the internal AI rollout manager for 300 colleagues: feature rollouts, training and compliance. 300 small figures stand on the paper and a rust wave spreads out until every figure is lit.
Over the past year I have also built my own side projects, the benchmarks and tools on this site. Slide decks ride a belt through a review gate; one has its title running through its chart, so the lamp turns rust and that deck is tipped into a bin.
Life today is a small townhouse in the Lüneburger Heide with a front and back yard and trees all around: family, guitar and basketball. One of us strums a guitar out front while notes float up, and a basketball drops through the hoop on the drive.
