Public notebooks age better than portfolios

A portfolio usually freezes a project at the moment it looked most impressive. I want this site to keep more of the path: the question, the first version, what broke, and what I would do next.

The Numberblocks animation is a good example. It is a small experiment I made for my daughter, and the high-five hands still look strange. A polished portfolio would probably leave it out. A notebook can keep it because the unfinished part is the point.

That does not mean publishing everything. I still need to choose what is worth keeping and organize it well enough that the site does not become a pile.

For now, that structure is simple: Andrew, Projects, and Writing.
